US OPEN ODDSPublished Today, 02:23
Here we go then, its the second major of the year and for the first time in ten years, the favoutie is not one Tiger Woods
The World number 1 is joint favourite with Masters champion Phil Mickleson at 8-1.
The European charge for the first winner of the US Open since Tony Jacklin in 1971 is led by Lee Westwood who goes off at 12-1.
The field is then seperated with Harrington and McIlroy going off at 25-1 along with Dustin Johnson who won the AT&T at Pebble Beach earlier this year and Jim Furyk.
Ernie Els is at 33-1 and is not a bad bet with Luke Donald. Nick Watney and Steve Stricker are at 40-1. While one of my tips Camilo Villegas is at 50-1 along with Retief Goosen, Paul Casey, 20006 winner Geoff Ogilvy and another of my tips Bo Van Pelt.
Pebble Beach usually doesn't unearth a surprise winner with Tiger, Jack and Tom Watson all not surprising us when they won in 2000, 1972 and 1980 respectively and I feel we won't get a surprise winner here either.
Tiger or Phil are great bets but I like Westwood he is the man in form and has had inside knowledge on Pebble Beach.
Jonny's 5 picks for US Open Glory
Westwood - 12-1
Villegas - 50-1
Van Pelt - 50-1
Tim Clark - 66-1
Schwartzel - 100-1
