Seasons greetings one and all. Even as Christmas is approaching, the golf still goes on. The European Tour Race to Dubai begins in earnest this week.

The Alfred Dunhill Championship begins in South Africa on Thursday and Ernie Els goes off as the 5-1 favourite.

Charl Schwartzel goes off at 10-1, while Anders Hansen and Richard Sterne are off at 20's.

My tip for the week is Eduardo Molinari at 25-1 and for some each-way value try John Bickerton at 80-1.

Meanwhile, down under. The Australian golf season is in full swing for the Australian PGA Championship where Adam Scott goes off the 6-1 favourite. Robert Allenby is 2nd favourite at 8-1, while 2006 U.S. Open champion Geoff Ogilvy is at 10-1.

I like Matty Goggin's chances at 20-1, hes my tip down under.

Finally, the Shark Shootout in Florida. The event hosted by Greg Norman is a team tournament featuring some of the best players int he world. A possible Ryder Cup pairing lead the way, Ross Fisher and Ian Poulter are 5-1 favourites to win. Striker & Jerry Kelly are my tip at 7-1.
