RIVIERA BEACH, FL--Two young men walking with golf bags on a city street led to the temporary lockdown of a Riviera Beach school Thursday.

Police say an officer working at a bank on Blue Heron Boulevard noticed the pair and thought something was suspicious.

He radioed in and asked a road patrol officer to investigate.

The patrolman found the duo and discovered the golf bags were filled with about a dozen weapons.

A fist fight broke out and he was able to arrest one of the suspects, but the other escaped.

Investigators say the golf bags were filled with guns, including assault rifles.

The pair was riding on a Palm Tran bus equipped with a surveillance camera. Investigators plan to study the tape for clues.

The USGA also penalized them 2 strokes for exceeding the number of rifles in a golf bag.

So much for growing the game of golf in the USA!!
